Hi! This tutorial will show you how to find Business Dynamics reports in the Passport database.
Use the arrows below to navigate through this tutorial. You can also use the "contents" box at the top of this rectangle to navigate among different parts of the tutorial.
Are you on campus right now? If so, you should be able to see the Passport Terms and Conditions page on the right side of this screen.
If you're viewing this tutorial off campus, you may see a screen asking for your Butler ID and password. Enter this information now to access Passport.
Scroll to the bottom of the database page on the screen to the right, and accept Passport's terms and conditions, which will bring you to the Passport home page.
Passport Business Dynamics reports contain a SWOT analysis, facts, data, and statistics about a particular country to help you better ascertain the risks and benefits of entering a new market.
Let's find a Business Dynamics report for Belgium.
You should be looking at the Passport homepage. In the top black menu bar, select Economies, then Business Dynamics.
You should now be on the "landing page" for Business Dynamics. As you scroll down the page, notice there are several search boxes for finding different types of information.
Look in the middle of the screen for the box titled "Country Reports." Click the down arrow of the box titled "Select a Category" and then click on "Business Dynamics."
Now click on the down arrow of the box for "Select a Geography," and scroll until you find Belgium.
The Country Reports box should now look like this:
Now click on Go in the Country Reports box to get to reports on Belgium.
You should now be looking a country report called "Business Dynamics: Belgium," and should see a brief introduction and a SWOT analysis.
